Who should attend this course?

This course has been principally designed for anyone seeking to increase their knowledge of aircraft painting processes.

It is particularly suited to B1 license holders to enhance their understanding of a critical process that is being signed for.

This 1-day course overviews the whole process of painting aircraft.

We will explain why surface preparation matters and the potential consequences if it goes wrong.

Explain the potential damage and knock-on effects of poor surface preparation.

Why paint warranties matter.

How and why paint should be properly prepared before use.

Testing that should take place and what records should be kept to confirm the painting job has been successful.

Understanding technical datasheets.

Paint defects.

Painting of composite materials

SRM and AMM.

QC tests.
